Position Overview
P.B. Bell Property Management Company is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at a premier high-rise community in Downtown Phoenix.
This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and operations of the property while ensuring the building, resident homes, common areas, amenities, and equipment are maintained to the highest standards. The Maintenance Supervisor leads the maintenance team, coordinates preventative maintenance and repairs, oversees vendors, responds to service requests and emergencies, and helps create a safe, comfortable, and exceptional living experience for our residents.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who takes pride in their work, has strong knowledge of building systems, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-rise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all apartments, buildings, equipment, and amenities are maintained in excellent condition
- Complete and oversee service requests in a timely manner with exceptional customer service
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (make-readies/turns)
- Train, schedule, develop, and manage maintenance team members
- Set priorities and delegate tasks to meet property goals and resident satisfaction standards
- Coordinate and schedule on-call rotations for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Participate in on-call emergency maintenance response
- Maintain safety and appearance standards throughout the community
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of apartment maintenance experience
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Plumbing
- Air conditioning/HVAC
- Electrical systems
- General repairs
- Boiler experience preferred
- High rise experience preferred
- Must possess a complete set of tools
- Strong customer service and communication skills
