Position Summary
PB Bell is seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead the on-site team and oversee the daily operations of a multifamily community. The Community Manager is responsible for hiring, training, motivating, evaluating, and supervising on-site employees while ensuring operational excellence, resident satisfaction, and strong financial performance.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with exceptional sales and customer service skills, a proven ability to drive occupancy and resident retention, and a passion for creating an outstanding living experience for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Showcase the community to prospective residents and maintain strong closing ratios
- Process and approve applications and coordinate move-ins
- Hire, train, motivate, and supervise on-site team members
- Direct marketing initiatives and monitor competitor activity
- Maintain excellent resident communication to promote retention and satisfaction
- Plan and execute resident events and community engagement activities
- Mediate resident concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Negotiate vendor pricing and oversee vendor relationships and services
- Manage supplies and parts inventory, including ordering and invoice processing
- Oversee and support property maintenance programs
- Monitor property performance, budgets, and financial goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and other applicable laws
- Foster a positive team culture focused on service excellence and operational success
Skills & Requirements
- Previous Community Manager experience required
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Experience with Yardi software preferred; must be tech-savvy
- Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and administrative skills
- Strong sales ability with excellent closing ratios
