Position Summary

The Assistant Manager works closely with the Community Manager in overseeing the daily site operations and achieving the goals of the property. This position assists the Community Manager with marketing and leasing of the community, resident retention and customer service. The Assistant Manager also assists the Community Manager in completing administrative tasks including the collection of rent, site accounting and report preparation, processing accounts payable, processing bank deposits, posting rent, and performing other administrative functions. The Assistant Manager reports directly to the Community Manager and acts on his/her behalf during absences. Must be available to work on Saturdays.

Skills / Requirements

  • Must have at least 6 months of Assistant Property Manager experience at an apartment community
  • Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills necessary
  • Strong leasing and marketing experience a must
  • Good computer skills required
  • Must work Saturdays
  • Yardi propety management software experience preferred
  • Must act in a respectful, courteous, and professional manner at all times
  • Must be customer service oriented
  • Must be able to work in an extremely fast paced enviorment
